• Modern Jive is very popular in many venues all over the world and this application accesses a large database of Jive move descriptions which have been compiled over the last 15 years. It is hoped this will be a useful resource for beginner through advanced Jivers alike.
  • The home menu shows you a few simple searches. Tap on any any of those to get started.
  • From the search results tap on a move name and it will show you the move in question.
  • Along the top, the Difficulty (1 = easy to 5 = partner move), Author's Rating (out of 100), Start hand grip (eg left to left, both hands etc) and the starting Signal given to your partner if any is shown.
  • At the top right of any move is the add / remove from your favourites button. The idea is you build up a list of favourites while browsing or searching. These favourites are the same as those on the Jive Treasure Box website.
  • The rest of the screen shows the move description with buttons to reveal comments and / or video to help you learn the move.
  • Issues / bugs
  • Some users have experienced the top button going missing and the screen looking odd. If you get this, please reload the screen from your browser.
  • Update: I have added the front screen which means all users will refresh before starting the session. You still see the effects when logged out but this doesn't hamper any navigation. This is a workaround but it seems consistent so this is regarded as a fix. Let me know if you have any problems with this in future.
  • Let me know on the email link below of any further issues.
  • I hope you enjoy using this app and do let me know of any feedback or suggestions for how to improve it...
